Mumbai Police: The Deonar Police Station in Mumbai has registered a criminal case against Ugrasen Ramsingh Godara, a resident of Hisar, Haryana, under Section 74 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, following allegations of harassment and criminal intimidation made by a woman entrepreneur.

According to the complaint filed with the police, the accused had been employed by the complainant’s company for several years. The woman stated that a few months ago, she and her husband began suspecting irregularities in the company’s financial records. Despite repeated requests, the accused allegedly failed to provide proper accounts or clarify the discrepancies.
The complainant further alleged that when she met the accused to discuss the company’s financial records, he behaved inappropriately with her and allegedly threatened her. Following the incident, she approached the Deonar Police Station and lodged a formal complaint.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered an FIR against Ugrasen Ramsingh Godara under Section 74 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Police officials have begun an investigation into the matter and are also examining the financial aspects related to the allegations.
Speaking to News-Next.in, the complainant’s husband alleged that Ugrasen Godara, along with some associates, had misappropriated funds amounting to several crores of rupees from their company. These allegations are currently under police investigation, and no conclusions have been reached at this stage.
