In a significant development, the Worli Police Station in Mumbai has registered a criminal case against Khaleel Suleman Siddick and Bhavin Shah, trustees of the Mohamed Khaleel Siddick Suleman Charitable Foundation Trust, under Sections 74, 75, 78 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
The case has been filed following serious allegations that the accused individuals allegedly called women to meet them under the pretext of providing donations through their animal welfare trust and later exploited them. The complaint suggests that the pattern of alleged misconduct continued over a period of time, prompting the matter to reach the Worli Police Station.
Understanding the seriousness of the allegations, the police registered the case promptly under the relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The registration of an FIR under these sections indicates that the authorities are treating the matter with gravity.
We made repeated attempts to contact Senior Police Inspector Arvind Patil for his official statement on the matter. However, despite multiple calls, we were unable to connect with him on his official number
As of the time of writing this news, although the case has been registered, no arrest has been made in connection with the matter.
