Animal Welfare Trust Scam: Donation Money or Dirty Game Inside Mumbai Animal Welfare Trust

Animal Welfare Trust Scam involving a Mumbai based charitable foundation where trustees are accused of misusing donation funds for personal luxury and alleged exploitation. Evidence claimed by News Next raises serious questions over financial irregularities.

Investigation by: Rupesh Kumar Singh

In todayтАЩs investigative report, we examine serious allegations surrounding a Mumbai based animal welfare organization operating under the name Mohamed Khaleel Siddick Suleman Charitable Foundation Trust. The trust, which officially claims to work for animal welfare, is now facing accusations of financial misconduct and moral impropriety by its trustees.

According to sources, the trust is managed by trustees including Kahleel Suleman, Bhavin Shah, Sunil Gupta and others. While the organization is registered for the purpose of animal welfare activities, allegations suggest that little to no substantial work is being carried out in this sector. Instead, it is being claimed that funds collected in the name of animal welfare are being diverted for personal indulgence.

One of the trustees, Bhavin Shah, who is reportedly an authorized signatory of the trust, is accused of misusing his authority to access and spend trust funds for personal purposes. Sources allege that donations collected under the pretext of supporting animal welfare initiatives are being redirected toward activities unrelated to the stated objectives of the trust.

Further allegations suggest that individuals associated with certain NGOs are invited under the guise of donation discussions. It is claimed that women who manage or represent such organizations are approached with offers of financial support. However, these meetings allegedly turn inappropriate, with accusations including coercion to consume alcohol and offers of money in exchange for sexual favors. It is further alleged that advance payments are sometimes made in order to ensure their presence at private meetings.

The publication www.news-next.in claims to possess evidence related to these allegations. However, at this stage, these remain claims that require formal verification by competent authorities.

When contacted for clarification, trustee Bhavin Shah strongly denied all allegations. He stated that no such misconduct has taken place and alleged that certain individuals are deliberately attempting to defame and falsely implicate him. He maintained that the trust operates within legal boundaries and that the accusations are baseless.

Despite the denial, concerns have been raised regarding possible financial irregularities and diversion of charitable funds. It has been indicated that a formal complaint may soon be submitted before the Charity Commissioner, requesting an official inquiry into the functioning, financial transactions, and administrative conduct of Mohamed Khaleel Siddick Suleman Charitable Foundation Trust.

If proven true, such allegations would represent a serious breach of public trust. Charitable institutions operate on credibility, transparency, and accountability. Any misuse of donation funds not only violates legal standards but also undermines the confidence of genuine donors and stakeholders who contribute for humanitarian and animal welfare causes.

The matter now calls for an independent investigation by the appropriate regulatory authorities to establish the facts. Until then, these allegations remain subject to verification and due process under law.

Further developments are expected once the matter is formally placed before the Charity Commission.
